Featured in Chris Grieve’s first monograph, these images are inspired by the volcanic and glacial landscapes of the Stokksnes region of Iceland's southern coast. Drawing inspiration from Miles Davis’s seminal 1959 album “Kind of Blue”, these photographs represent Chris's improvisational response to the sights, sounds, and sensations she experienced during an intensive trip to Iceland in 2025, and inform the central motif that runs through her forthcoming book.
